Per cert, si us interessa, el projecte va ser dissenyat pel duo Klein Dytham architecture , els quals entre altres coses també regenten el SuperDeluxe, un dels millors locals nocturns de Tokyo :)
Great discovery this weekend! I decided to pay a visit to a brand new commercial area called T-site in Daikanyama's trendy neighborhood, an area hosting different types of stores but where amongst many things there is one shinning on its own...the Tsutaya store! Tsutaya is a Japanese chain of books, music and movies with hundreds or thousands of stores but none like this one, my goodness what a place, the best library I've ever seen! All type of books (also in English!) from magazines to arts and much more, a huge selection of videos and music, most of them rental music (yes rental...and is very popular here!) and you can listen as much as you want for free!! This is definitely a place where you can easily spend an afternoon browsing in all these material and if you get tired there is an amazing café-lounge (also a Starbucks...) where to enjoy some drinks or meals (a bit expensive though...). Outstanding as well the communication system in the center, with lots of ipads everywhere were you can look for the Tsutaya catalogue, check the café's menu or get information on the other activities. Anyway this is again a good example of the great things that this city can offer.
By the way, if interested, the place was designed by the duo Klein Dytham architecture (KDa) who amongst other things also own SuperDeluxe, one of the best nightlife places in Tokyo :)
