Esquí a Naeba - Ski in Naeba!

ei aquí estic de tornada després de passar un cap de setmana llarg d'esquí!! La meva segona incursió a les pistes d'esquí japoneses i la primera de l'any. Si l'any passat vàrem anar a Niseko l'estació número 1 actual, aquesta vegada vàrem fer cap a Naeba, una estació a prop de Tokyo que també va tenir el seu moment de glòria...fa 15 o 20 anys! I bé es notava bastant en l'ambient i el poble que en un altre moment hi van haver temps millors. Això sí la neu collonuda i això al final és el que més compte!


Hey I'm back after a long weekend of ski!! My second time skiing in the Japanese mountains and the first of the year. If last year we went to the current number one location, in Niseko, this year we headed to Naeva, a station very close to Tokyo that had its momentum...but 15 or 20 years ago! And well this you could easily noticed with a town filled with buildings of doubtful style souvenir of better times. At the end however, the most important the snow was as usual really good!!




Temps molt variable, des de neu, passsant per pluja fins a un sol espectacular!!
In three days we had all kinds of weather, from snow to rain or a great sunny day!

No sé si serà pel fet de ser una estació antiga però us asseguro que hi havia cada personatge amb un estil que feien por...em recordaven aquell any que per carnaval ens vàrem disfressar d'esquiadors de l'època...

Don't know because it was that station was rather old but I tell you that there was plenty of people with a kind of old-fashioned style really interesting...it reminded me that year that with my friends we dressed up like the skiers of the 80... 

A les estacions del Japó, ni fondue, ni raclette ni tartiflette...ara el menjar igual de "sa"! Un "chikenkatsu" que feia por!

In Japan, neither fondue, nor raclette nor tartiflette...but the food is as "healthy" as in Switzerland!! I ate a huge "chickenkatsu"!!

Fent amics per Naeba! resulta que l'estació celebra els 50è aniversari aquest any i hi havia aquest personatge passejant-se amunt i avall que més tard vàrem saber es simbolitzava el primer esquiador que va baixar per aquestes muntanyes. 




I finalment el millor d'esquiar al Japó...després d'una dura jornada d'esquí no hi ha res millor que acabar en un Onsen, els banys termals públics que es troben per tot arreu...et deixa com nou!!


The best of skiing in Japan...after a tough day of ski there is nothing else better that ending in an Onsen, the public baths you find everywhere in the mountains....best option to recover!
