Un altre de les resolucions de l'any feta realitat...Fuji Rock Festival! Acompanyat de l'estimada parella d'amics, en Dai i la Nati vàrem fer cap a les muntanyes per gaudir d'un dels festivals de música més importants d'Àsia, sinó el que més. I malgrat les altes expectatives el resultat no va decebre, gran cap de setmana!! Tot i el nom, el festival actual ja no és fa al Fuji (només es va fer la primera edició al 1997) sinó que ocupa les instal.lacions del que a l'hivern és l'estació d'esquí de Naeba. Enmig doncs d'un entorn natural espectacular es desplega el festival en escenaris per aquí i més enllà, les dimensions del festival són increïbles, per voltar tots els escenaris es triguen hores amunt i avall. Un festival amb una llarga història i presència al Japó que es coneix sobretot pel seu temps inestable del qual en puc donar bona fe, tan bon punt fa sol com en deu minuts s'ennuvola tot i cau un ruixat que déu ni do. Aquest fet és la marca del festival on tothom sap que acabarà remullat i/o enfangat, el perfil estandard dels participants és botes d'aigua, un impermeable tamany XXL i una cadira plegable, caigui el ruixat de l'any o el sol d'estiu, la gent descansa en les seves cadires i segueix gaudint del panorama. Com no podia ser d'altra forma, el festival super ben organitzat i molt net comparat amb els festivals que tenim a Europa. L'ambient és genial i sorprenenment molt familiar, era increïble veure tants i tants pares amb la seva canalla corrent amunt i avall, molt maco. De gent per a gustos i colors, literalment, colors i disfresses formen part del kit Fuji Rock, vàrem veure imatges divertídissimes. Així doncs a un bon entorn amb un bon ambient només falta la bona música i la vàrem tenir, la graella d'aquest any va ser espectacular, els mítics The Cure com a cap de cartell però amb multitud d'altres grups d'aquí i de fora amb els que ens ho vem passar d'escàndol! Another resolution for this
year that came true…Fuji Rock Festival! Together with my dear couple of
friends, Dai and Nati, we headed to the mountains to enjoy one of the most
important music festivals in Asia, if not the most. And even with high
expectations, the result didn’t disappoint us at all, great weekend! Although
its name, the current festival is not held at Fuji (only the first edition was
there in 1997) but in a location that during winter time is the resort ski area
of Naeba. Between magnificent natural landscapes there is the festival with
stages everywhere, it is that huge that you can spend hours going around! The
festival has long tradition in the country and it is well known particularly
for its instable weather, and I can guarantee this…as soon it is sunny as it is
raining cats and dogs! This is the unofficial brandmark of the festival where
everyone knows that will finish wet and/or muddy, the standard profile of the
participants are rain boots, rain coat size XXL and a foldable chair, with this
it may be sunny or rainy, people will rest and enjoy the festival. As usual in
Japan, the event was very well organized and particularly clean compared to
other Festivals in Europe. The
atmosphere was great and surprisingly very familiar, was amazing to see so many
parents with their children going around, really nice! And so many different
and crazy, people wearing colorful and costumes is already part of the Fuji
Rock profile, we saw images really funny! So with such a good location and wonderful
atmosphere, we just miss good music, and god we had it! This year’s line-up was
awesome, the legendary The Cure in front but followed by lots of bands from
