Sushi mòbil! - Moving Sushi!

avui us parlaré d'un dels clàssics del Japó, els restaurants de Sushi! i bé no us penseu que és fàcil, aquí és tot un món, n'hi ha de molt tipus...començarem per sota, els més simples i barats sense dubte són els famosos restaurants amb cinta giratòria, anomenats Kaiten-sushi. Són una bona opció quan es vol anar de barato, ep però no us penseu que pel fet de ser barats no són bons, jo sempre dic que un restaurant d'aquests aquí serveix un sushi millor que molts restaurants d'allà, aquí evidentment hi ha opcions millors però normalment tenen una relació qualitat-preu digne. En vaig descobrir un a prop del mercat del peix (Tsukiji) amb molt bon resultat. I com funciona? doncs molt fàcil, normalment hi ha una cinta circular amb els cuiners a l'interior que van preparant els diferents tipus sushis i els posen a la cinta on la gent va agafant el què vol. El preu de cadascun te'l marca el platet on el posen, un només ha d'anar menjant i quan s'acaba et venen a comptar la quantitat i tipus de plats que tens i a pagar! Per cert, el truc per menjar els sushis frescos, es demanar-los directament al cuiners que te'ls farà al moment!

today I'm gonna write about a classic in Japan, the Sushi restaurants! well don't think it is easy, here this is a huge world with restaurants of all kinds...I will start from the bottom, the simplest and cheapest are without a doubt the famous restaurants with conveyor belt, called Kaiten-sushi. They are a good option when going for low price, hey but don't think this implies to be tasteless, I always say that one of them here has better sushi that most of the restaurants in Europe, in Japan obviously you can find much better options but usually is good value for money. I discovered one nearby the fish market (Tsukiji) which is really worthwhile. And how does it work? easy, usually there is a round belt with the cooks inside, who prepare the different types of sushi where people takes what they want. The price depends on the plate where they put it, each type of plate has a different price and when you finish they just come and count the number and type of plates and just need to pay! Btw, the trick to eat fresh sushi is to ask directly to the cook who will make them at the moment!

I per últim aquesta va ser la meva llista de compra...amb moderació! :-) A la foto podeu veure el cartell amb els diferents preus de plats. Important, si veieu una pols verda no és sal aromatitzada, es tracta de tè verd en pols que et donen gratuitament. Només t'has de posar la quantitat que vols al got i agafar aigua calenta de les aixetes! Ho dic perquè en sé d'un (no pas jo!) que es va posar el tè per sobre d'uns sushis...sense comentaris :-)

And lastly this was my list...with moderation! :-) In this pic you can see the price indication of each different plat behind. Important, if you go and see a box with a green powder, this is not flavoured salt, it's powder green tea (Macha)! You just need to take the quantity you want and put some hot water from the tap! I say it because I know someone (not me!) who put the powder tea in his sushi...no comments :-)

Contra la calor...a la platja!! - Against the heat...to the beach!!

Tornada al Japó i què em trobo? doncs amb l'estiu que ja ha arribat de ple, 30graus a les 8 del matí i el pitjor és la humitat aquesta que només surts de casa i comences a suar per tots costats...o sigui que quina és la millor solució en aquests casos? doncs una bona remullada a la platja! Així que aquest cap de setmana vaig fer cap a Enoshima amb uns amics, una platja que no es destacaria per la seva qualitat però queda a prop de Tokyo i hi ha un ambient festiu i "surfero" molt guapo que fa estiu de veritat. A sobre en dies clars, com va ser, hi  ha una posta de sola al costat del Mt. Fuji espetarrant!! 

Back to Japan and what did I find? well the summer is there by all means, 30 degrees at 8 am and the worst is this humidity that make you sweat just getting out of home...so what's the best to do in this situation? cool one down to the beach!! So, this last weekend I headed to Enoshima with some friends, a beach that doesn't outstands by its quality but is nearby Tokyo and it has a cool festive and surfer atmosphere that makes you feel in summer time! On top in clear days, as it was, there is an astonishing sunset next to the Mt.Fuji !!

Singapur!!! - Singapore!!

Hola!! torno a estar per aquí després d'unes setmanes voltant per Catalunya, Suïssa i de nou pel sud est asiàtic, a Singapur on hi vaig anar per un congrés. Ai Singapur...diguem que no et deixa indiferent, quan arribes t'envaeix una sensació rara, en primer lloc un aeroport impolut, quan surts a fora carrers nets amb un palmeral rotllo Miami, un trànsit pausat i sense estridències, després s'obre la badia carregada de vaixells com si estiguéssis en una peli d'aquelles de pirates amb canons i les grans guerres navals, però en aquest cas es tracta de mercaderia fent cua per descarregar al port marítim, un dels més importants del món. I quan encara estàs pensant en això finalment se t'obre la metròpolis al davant amb tot de gratacels i edificis d'estil arquitectònic a lo mínim particular.  Per sobre de tot, destacar el famós hotel vaixell, el Marina Bay Sands que és simplement espectacular i ofereix unes vistes a la ciutat acollonants! Això és Singapur, la ciutat de les prohibicions, del luxe i el benestar, on tot està tan net, ordenat i en bon estat que no sembla natural, sembla mentida que estigui rodejat per països ecom Indonesia o Malàsia amb una situació econòmica tan diferent.

Hello!! I'm back after some weeks around visiting Catalonia, Switzerland and again to south east asia, in Singapur for a congress. What a city...let's say it doesn't leave you indifferent, when you get there there's a bizarre sensation that surrounds you, firstly an unpolluted airport, outside clean roads with palms Miami's style, quiet traffic without noise and then the bay opens with a sea full of boats as if you were in one of those movies of pirates in naval warfares, but it happens to be commodity boats queuing to unload at the seaport, one of the biggest in the world. And then, when you're still thinking about it finally the metropolis opens itself in front with its huge skycrapers and buildings of particular architectural style at least. Above all, it stands-out the famous boat hotel, the Marina Bay Sands which is simply unbelievable and offers awesome views of the city! This is Singapore, the city of bans, luxury and well-being where everything is so clean, tidy and in a good condition that doesn't seem natural and it makes hard to believe it is surrounded by countries like Indonesia or Malasia with a complete different economic situation.
